....until I had something UHMAZING to post. And here it is, courtesy of joythebaker, one of my all time favourite bloggers. Cinnamon-sugar-pull-apart-bread. Go there. Go there now!
No, I didn't tweak the recipe. Look at Joy's pictures and you won't blame me. Not one bit. I wanted my first attempt to taste just like Joy's.
And Bike Boy approved wholeheartedly. Oh yes - there were big smiles all round, and he declared that it must have been a Swedish recipe! Praise indeed.
But perhaps I'll be tempted to substitute in some vanilla sugar, or maybe infuse the warming milk with a little cardamom, or saffron, to Swede-it-up a little more next time. Or the time after that. Or after that. I have a feeling there will be plenty of repeats.

hi, thank you for kind comments on my blog, I found your blog through them :) I'm looking forward to following you and this bread is delicious!
ReplyDeleteHi Tamara - yes - was challenging at first but google translate does a pretty good job on most of it, and your photos are lovely!
ReplyDeleteHi Ruth,
ReplyDeleteglad you like my blog. I'm always happy to hear that :).
I baked that bread, too, some days after I read about it on Joy. It was delicious. But if you're loving things like that, try the coffee cake, which I posted last month about. That was even better! It was so good I made two in a row.
This looks amazing, I need to try this recipe asap!
